AI Policy

When I set out to create Sprig & Spoon, my mission was to create content that connected you to an old-fashioned, simple way of living that is aligned with the rhythms of nature and the seasons. That is still my mission, and with that in mind, I have personal commitments in how I handle Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Sprig & Spoon. 

My policy regarding AI is as follows:

• I will never use generative AI to create recipes, write posts, or produce photos. It’s important to me that my readers know that every recipe I share has been tested by me (and taste-tested by my husband 😂) to ensure that it meets my standards as an actual human with taste buds! And you can trust that the photos I share are real pictures of the actual food you can make, not what AI thinks the food might look like. 
• Similarly, I will never get information or facts I share from AI. You can trust that my gardening content and preservation tutorials are based on thorough, reliable research and personal experience. 

I know everyone has different beliefs when it comes to the use of AI, but it is important to me as a creator to keep it out of this creative space. I want you to be able to trust my recipes and content as a real, human gardener, homesteader, and recipe developer.
