of fresh strawberries
chopped
Two sprigs of fresh mint
about 8 leaves each
Juice of 2 limes

simple syrup

ounces
white rum
Soda water
about 12 ounces
Instructions
1. Combine strawberries and mint in a muddler and muddle until the strawberries are thoroughly crushed.
2. Pour crushed strawberries and mint to a cocktail shaker, then add lime juice, rum, and simple syrup. Shake well.
3. Pour the entire contents of the shaker into two 16-ounce glasses, splitting evenly between the glass.
4. Fill each glass ¾ full with soda water, then top off with ice.
5. Garnish with strawberry slices, lime slices, and a mint sprig.
Notes
To make a single serving, cut the recipe in half.
