Combine blueberries, honey, and 2 tablespoons of water in a small saucepan and warm over medium heat. Once the water starts to simmer, reduce heat to medium-low and mash blueberries with a fork or potato masher. Continue to simmer for 5 - 10 minutes, then remove from heat.
Blend blueberry mixture with an immersion blender until smooth.
In a small bowl, combine matcha with 1/4 cup of boiling water. Stir vigorously with a whisk or milk frother until there are no more clumps.
Spoon the blueberry puree into the bottom of the glass. Pour the milk in, then fill the glass with ice cubes until it’s ¾ full. Pour the matcha shot on top and serve with a straw.

*If you want an extra smooth blueberry syrup, strain through a fine mesh sieve after blending.
